The first anchor tenant has arrived at the iCUBE business centre

24 March 2016. The O1 Properties investment company, one of the largest class A office property owners in Moscow, has signed a long-term lease with the Russian division of the international ABB Group at the iCUBE business centre. The area leased under this contract is more than 4,000 square metres. The broker for this deal was S.A. Ricci.

ABB’s move to iCUBE is scheduled for May 2016. The interior finishing work is currently in progress in the office premises located on the fourth and fifth floors of the building. The lease is for a term of 5 years.

The iCUBE business centre is an 11-storey class A office complex on Nakhimovsky Prospekt next to Profsoyuznaya metro station. The building, with a total rentable area of 19,000 square metres, is notable for its original architecture with geometric lines, floor-to-ceiling windows and a frontage of grey-blue stemalite enamelled glass. All the necessary infrastructure is located on site, and an underground car park provides 220 parking lots. The building was designed by ABD Architects.

Alexander Ostrovsky, CEO of O1 Properties: “A major deal with a leaseholder like ABB confirms the high quality of the iCUBE business centre, which fully conforms to Western standards of construction. We are glad that leading international companies, despite the wide range of new supply on the office market in Moscow, continue to look on our class A business centres as the optimum choice for locating their global offices in Russia.”

Tatyana Mikhailova, property and administrative affairs director of ABB in Russia: “Our company’s new business development strategy calls for optimal use of leased premises, which also implies innovative approaches to the function and uses of office space. The new business centre fully meets these requirements and, in addition to that, the upgrade of the building means that our employees will enjoy the corresponding comfort of class A working conditions.”
